After a long and dreary winter, it's finally time to head back out on the golf course and get your game in full swing for summer.
Our Director of Golf Operations and our Golf Course Superintendent have been hard at work all off-season maintaining and improving Bristol Harbour's 6,700 yard, 18-hole course for even better play in 2019.
Here's a preview of what we've been up to:
Four target greens have been defined on the driving range to help improve golfers' warm ups and practice.
Trees have been trimmed around the tee boxes on holes #7, #13, #14, and #16. This will better open up the target areas that had started to be blocked out by overgrown foliage, and will help to preserve the beauty of the course's signature layout.
Red, white, and yellow "Penalty Area" stakes have been added to more clearly mark out the penalty areas. This will help speed the pace of play and will help improve the overall golf course experience for everyone, as the rules of golf changed this year as of January 1st.
